Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Miller!!!

This past weekend Emma & I were invited to participate in one of my closest friends special day. We had such a fun time celebrating the day with the happy couple and their friends and family. I can say that I've been to many weddings (our 9th in 3 years) and it was one of the best, loved all of the small touches.

A fellow high school classmate, who is now a Deacon, helped perform their marriage ceremony.   One of my favorite things he talked about was love and your spouse and hopefully everyday when you wake up, ask yourself - "Is there anything I wouldn't do for my spouse today?".  It was a good reminder for me to let go of the extra crap that muddles my marriage at times and get back to us.

There were many different blessings given, great speeches, polish toast with shots of vodka for every guest. Instead of a bouquet toss - each single lady was given a single rose from the groom, the married ladies got to take home a mum (that was used for decoration).  A yummy cake *made by the bride*, 4 different dessert mousse's, variety of cookies.  Photo booth with props, great music - my Emma danced every song until we had to leave as Avalynn was so tired and wouldn't fall asleep.

Vehicle shot - the earrings and necklace were made by the bride as one of our wonderful presents.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Miller!!!

Wedding, Flower Girl and Princes...

Where oh where has the time gone? My baby girl was in her 1st wedding this past Saturday as the flower girl. She did great at her job. Loved being dressed as a "princess" and walking down the aisle with her "prince". Although she has this funny notion in her head lately that she needs to get married! I tell you, I'm not ready for that. I tell her not until she's as old as mommy. But she sometimes forgets, like the morning of she told me that Jamie was getting married and then she was going to get married. I politely reminded her, that her only job that day was to be the flower girl.  Here she is the night of the rehearsal looking so excited and happy.  Would like to say CONGRATULATIONS Mr. & Mrs. Nace, I hope your having a lovely time on your honeymoon!!!

One thing I love about weddings, and I've had my fair share over the past 2 years, with attending 8 of them, is listening to the vows again.  It's always a nice reminder for me anyways and feeling the renewed love towards the Hubs.  When your in that moment on your wedding day, everything sort-of becomes a blur, your worried about tripping up over the words etc.  But as a guest we get to really take in the meaning of those words.  In my one mom group the topic came up over the weekend about still having that "new love" feeling with our hubby's.  I know I still get that little drop in my stomach sometimes.  I asked the Hubs last night on the way home if he still did at all, curious to his answer and was pleasantly pleased when he said he did.

Do you still get those little tingly's, pitt in your stomach, buttterflies, little moments with your significant other?  Has he done anything lately for you to have that fall in love all over again moment lately?

Just Another Wedding

This has definitely been the year for wedding with friends and family that I know. Today we attended our 4th in 4 months time. The ceremony was beautiful. The reception was great, minus the fact of having an overtired (no time for a nap today) 2 year old little girl, which meant we had to leave in the middle of dinner, I so wish we could have stayed longer. But anyways, a big CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. & Mrs. Cory Packer!!!

The reception was held at the Conference Center at Millersville University. Oh the memories. How I miss that place so much. Especially on beautiful days like today. We had time to kill between the ceremony and the reception so we headed to the pond to visit the ducks, geese, and swans "Miller" & "S'ville". Walked through the SMC (pronounced smack). They were having a Stepping competition...now why did they never have that when I went? I would have loved to have watched. It was fun seeing a guy practice out in the hall. Unfortunately the school store was already closed but I definitely want to head back out sometime in the near future. Now for some pictures.

Yes, the nice 30 minute cat nap before we arrived for the ceremony.

Over 2 years in the making...

Well, two years ago, today we were in the hospital and I was being started on Pitocin to get the labor started with my beautiful bundle of joy Emma Rose. I can't believe that 1:07AM tomorrow she'll be 2 years old!

We had a great but rainy weekend.

Saturday morning we trekked out to the Apple Festival. It started raining even harder so we quickly perused the isle's quickly. Emma did play two games and won some prizes, she got a crown & wand, and we of course had to get some kettle corn.

Later in the day we headed out to Millersburg to my cousin's wedding. It was beautifully decorated, the food was oh so very scrumptious, and the wedding couple looked blissfully happy. Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Christopher Lukunich! (Hoping the settlement of your new house goes very smoothly today)

Sunday was Emma's party day. We spent the morning having a yummy breakfast of waffles, getting ready, cooking food, decorating, and then party, party time after nap. All 6 sets of her grand & great - grand parents came, and both of her aunt's and their boyfriends came out to celebrate. The food was yummy. She got lots of great stuff from everyone. The hubs and me were quite exhausted by the time we got done with bedtime for Emma, cleaned up the decorations, did dishes, and re-organized and put away all of her new goodies. Now for a big overload of pictures.

Yummy waffles for breakfast.

Just a fly by posting...

I have gotten on here several times the past two days to post, but something always calls me away. I'll be posting tomorrow about my Uncle Chooky's wedding and my scrap projects I got done today during the ACOT crop.
