Thirteen things in my life that are why I've fallen off of Bloggy-land. Oh - how I've missed you, but I'm BACK!
1. My Dad was in a really bad accident two months ago - he fell 20 feet from a tree, has had a miraculous recovery, the hospital calls him their miracle case, although still a ways to go - he is at home now!
2. Was in a vehicle accident a month ago - finally just got back our van yesterday, what a relief!
3. The hubs got laid off two weeks ago.
4. My work is picking up finally again - but I'm leaving there in June to prepare our new house and get set up watching kids from home.
5. As stated above - we're MOVING!
6. Our house just went on the market last week - already 3 showings - keep those fingers crossed!
7. Packing up stuff - keeping the house clean.
8. My gramma's cancer has returned she starts treatments in June.
9. Over this past weekend my Pappy was found to be internally bleeding - still not sure what is wrong though.
10. Helping the hubs uncle prepare for his estate auction 5.30.09.
11. Back to full-force potty training.
12. You know having a toddler just keeps you busy, especially one as klutzy as mine!
13. And just everday life.
So - most of all - it's been a rough couple of months - here's to looking to the brighter side of it all and on to the good times!

Thursday Thirteen - Twilight
It's finally Thursday, which means one more nights sleep before the Twilight premiere. So, in honor of my obsession/love of Twilight, thirteen of my favorite quotes from the books.
1. And so the lion fell in love with the lamb.
2. Before you my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars-points of light and reason. And then you shot across the sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn’t see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.
3. Time passes. Even when it seems impossible. Even when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does. Even for me.

Todays Theme is outdated/dumb laws in Pennsylvania.
1. No singing in the bathtub.
2. Housewives should clean properly law.
3. 16 Women per house limit!
4. No nap on the fridge law.
5. No getting married drunk!
6. No public woodys allowed in Allentown.
7. Illegal to wear cosmetics.
8. Fire hydrant check-up law.
9. No horses on parking meters.
10. The anti backwards eating peanut law.
11. No donkeys on the trolley cars.
12. Don't shoot stray dogs.
13. Motorists, light off a rocket every 10 miles.

Thursday Thirteen
My 3rd edition. Woo-hoo! Today's theme is going to be quotes that have been popping up at me a lot lately or my favorites.
1. The days are long but the years are short.
2. Never make someone your world when they've only made you an option.
3. I do not want to get to the end of my life and find I've only lived the length of it, I want to have lived the width of it as well.
4. Love the life you live, live the life you love.
5. Take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footsteps, and kill nothing but time.
6. Life is about what you give, not what you get.
7. Realize what's important in your life, what you can live with, but more importantly what you can't live without.
8. A daughter may outgrow your lap, but will never outgrow your heart.
9. I am me & that's who I want to be.
10. The tattoo is the mark of the soul. It can act as a window through which we can see inside, or it can be a shield to protect us from those who cannot see past the surface.
11. If you wait too long for the perfect moment, the perfect moment will pass you by.
12. If you're waiting for a sign...this is it. Do it. It will be amazing!

Thirsday Thirteen
Since we are officially in the middle of the Autumn Season thought I'd do my 13 favorite things:
1. The weather starts to get cooler.
2. DST time Ends!
3. The trees leaves change colors and all fall off.
4. Time for making costumes and going Trick-or-Treating.
5. Raking leaves and letting Emma jump in them.
6. Apple Festivals.
7. Pumpkin Patches.
8. Carving Pumpkins and roasting the seeds.
9. Fall colors.
10. Thanksgiving.
11. Black Friday shopping.
12. Baking pumpkin pies and pumpkin rolls.
13. Mums.

Thursday Thirteen
Idea taken from my friend Amy's Blog. (Go ahead, check out her blog to the left of my page, she's there in my friends, good reading!).
Thirteen Things I'm Grateful for:
1. That I got 9 hours of sleep last night. I feel much more rested.
2. My grandparents. I am so very lucky they are in my life and do everything they do for me and my family.
3. That Kristina got her license yesterday! Go, Kristina!!! No more having to be the required over the age of 21 passenger when I go over to my mom's.
4. My flower beds are weeded and Emma's yard area is mowed and cleaned up.
5. That Emma is finally quiet and taking her nap, after 2 hours of her just playing around in her room and me going up there several times.
6. The beautiful weather we've been having, and enjoying the breeze through the windows.
7. Lisa for making me an incredible birthday invitation for Emma's party at the end of the month.
8. The great hugs and kisses I've gotten from Emma today. Nothing better in life.
9. Deann for just being a great friend with a much needed ear for listening and some great advice.
10. I do not have to work today.
11. It's almost the weekend.
12. Music.
13. Dishes are done and the bathroom is clean. :o)
